Neene, Lex, and I went to a Portland Beavers Baseball game and had a great time. Neene and Lex live across the street from the stadium so it was extremely convenient! We enjoyed the game went home for dinner and then walked back for the fireworks show. Some of the pictures are taken by Lex - she loves taking pictures and is a terrific little photographer. She really likes taking pictures of her mommy making silly faces.. I left those pictures out, sorry :) 
Happy Birthday Mom!!! On July 16th she turned 60! The ladies from McKenzie Willamette threw her a surprise party - it was great! She was totally surprised and upon opening the door announced to Nate and I that she was not going to walk over to the party once she realized all the fuss was for her... We got you mom...Happy Birthday! 
We started the 4th in Harrisburg at the parade. By the end of the parade Lex had pounds of candy! We also got several Frisbees which came in handy later when we played yard games for hours. Between the Frisbees, bean bag toss, and bocce there was something for everyone. Lex also had to show us all she's a future track star when she raced grandpa and I. Harrisburg had several activities for families and lots of food booths that we ventured through. After a great meal (Thanks Nate) we watched the fire works. Nate and Crystal live on the water in Harrisburg so their front yard provides a perfect place to watch the show. It was a great 4th and now we're looking forward to the next family party... Mom's 60th birthday on July 16th!!!
I got to go to the Trials!!! I've been talking about going to the Olympic Trials since they announced they were coming to Eugene. My boss let Jennine and I have his tickets when his baby sitter fell through (Thanks Michael!) We had a really good time but it was one of the hottest days of the summer. By the last picture you can tell we were melting! We got to see some fun races and some finals. Our seats were on the finish line and in the third row - they were great! 
This last weekend was super hot and a great weekend to hit the water! Lex got to go on her first raft trip. Grandma and Grandpa are so proud of their little rafter.
